MCRCD Navarro Watershed Climate Resiliency Community Meeting

Join MCRD for a Community Meeting at the Anderson Valley Grange on Saturday March 23, 2024. This meeting will focus on climate-beneficial practices in forests, vineyards, orchards, rangeland, and streams. Everyone is welcome! There is a $15 registration fee for those that want lunch included, otherwise this is a free event.

Presentations and topics covered:

  • Climate-beneficial best management practices (BMPs) for forests, soils, and water

  • Co-benefits such as wildlife habitat, water quality, biodiversity, and land resilience

  • Watershed-level carbon accounting and funding opportunities

MCRCD encourage landowners and managers of forest lands, vineyards, orchards, rangeland, and interested community members to attend for inspiration and insights.
