Adopt-a-Highway US-116 in Northwood Section

Storms have continued through the winter. Running water increases trash runoff on US-116. Let's collect before it flows into the Russian River and Ocean!

It’s easy to participate and they provide all the gloves, safety gear, trash grabbers, and bags.

From the check-in location, volunteers will be able to choose various walking routes along the highway based on where the trash is.

This section of the road is close to the Russian River that runs just alongside the highway. Let's grab the trash before rains and wind sweep it into the waters where it can cause harm to people and animals. We look forward to working together for a cleaner watershed!
